What if.... dreams came true?

That in itself sounds like a dream, doesn't it? To have all that you could ever want with just a thought. And it would be all fun and games for a while. I will not go into much detail about all the great things that this would bring, for I am sure you have thought of them too. But what about the horrors that could be unleashed, and the problems they would cause?

The best part of achieving a dream is the knowledge that your hard work paid off. That we have made it. Take that away and what is left? There would be no purpose in life.

And what of the ones that dream of harm? The dreams that would be destructive and detrimental to the whole of society? None of us want to live in a world where murders could happen in the blink of an eye, where terrorists run free, and where our freedom could be taken away. A world where we would never be in a place that would be safe enough for us to call home. That is a nightmare of the worst sort for a lot of us.

This is proof that no gift is without a price, that if a thing is too good to be true, it usually is.

So don't be dazzled by dreams. Use them wisely and carefully, like the precious resources they are.
