Think about your parents, siblings, family members, and friends. Think about the objects that you have owned for a long time. You can't imagine living without them, can you?

That is because of love. Love is the glue that holds us together, tethers us, motivating us to be our best.

But what if love did not exist? Then there would be no sentimentality. There would be no hope, no motivation, and no trust. There would be no life, not one that would be worth living.

Could you imagine a world where you wouldn't care if your family and friends were no longer there? Where you were truly and utterly alone? Well, that is the existence we would live in if the disappearance of love ever happened.

Love is the one emotion that is intertwined with all others. It is so deeply rooted in every emotion we feel, and every choice we make. Even hate, the so-called opposite of love, is just love that is lost. The true opposite of love, the only thing we would feel in its absence, is apathy. Not one real feeling in our body, going day in and day out, not knowing the joys and sorrows that come with loving someone, that come with feeling anything at all. And what a cruel existence that would be.

Humans need love to survive. It is the greatest feeling that can happen to us, the strongest magic we can feel. To try to imagine a life without love, to actually live without it, would hurt more than cutting your own heart out. Not one of us can understand the true repercussions of a life without love. I don't think any of us really even want to try.
